To be eligible for the NDIS, an individual must meet the following requirements:
– Age – The person must be under the age of 65 at the time of application.
– Residency – The person must be an Australian citizen, a permanent resident, or a New Zealand citizen with a Protected Special Category Visa.
– Disability Requirement – The person must have a permanent and significant disability.
– Functional Impact – The person’s disability must significantly impact their ability to undertake activities of daily living.
If you find you are eligible for the NDIS, then you are allowed to access NDIS services in Melbourne or in your residential area.
