At Yiga Ability Care, our Supported Independent Living (SIL) services are available to participants with allocated SIL funding, no matter their support needs. We have an experienced team that will work with you to develop SIL supports that are completely tailored to your needs. This can include shared hours of one-to-one or two-to-one support and include any type of overnight support.
What is Supported Independent Living?
Supported Independent Living (SIL) is round-the-clock assistance with daily tasks to enable NDIS participants to live as independently as possible while building their skills and capacity with the support of the right staff.
Some of the services Yiga Ability Care provides include:
24-hour support, including overnight (active or inactive)
Personal care
Mobility support
Medication assistance
Shopping and meal preparation
Domestic support
Through our SIL program, we aim to enhance the quality of life and independence of our participants. By addressing the unique preferences and goals of each individual, Yiga Ability Care fosters a supportive and nurturing atmosphere where participants can thrive, develop life skills, and achieve a greater sense of autonomy.
